✧ What Is Disliked to Eat

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ وَاضِحٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ سَلْمَى بِنْتِ نَصْرٍ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي مُرَّةَ قَالَ:

أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقُلْتُ: " يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّ جُلَّ مَا لِي فِي الْحُمُرِ، أَفَأُصِيبُ مِنْهَا ؟ قَالَ ﷺ: أَلَيْسَ تَرْعَى الْفَلَاةَ وَتَأْكُلُ الشَّجَرَ ؟. قُلْتُ: بَلَى. قَالَ: فَأَصِبْ مِنْهَا

Translation

✧ I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, “O Messenger of Allah, most of my wealth is in donkeys; may I acquire from them?” He ﷺ said, “Does it not graze on open land and eat from trees?” I said, “Yes.” He said, “Then acquire from them.”
