- وَقَالَ إِسْحَاقُ: أَنَا بَقِيَّةُ، حَدَّثَنِي أَرْطَاةُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ، عَمَّنْ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ
أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ لِمَنْ عِنْدَهَا: كَيْفَ أَنْتُمْ إِذَا دَاعِيَانِ: دَاعٍ إِلَى كِتَابِ اللهِ، وَدَاعٍ إِلَى سُلْطَانِ اللهِ ؟ فَقَالُوا: نُجِيبُ الدَّاعِيَ إِلَى كِتَابِ اللهِ. قَالَتْ: بَلْ أَجِيبُوا الدَّاعِيَ إِلَى سُلْطَانِ اللهِ، فَإِنَّ كِتَابَ اللهِ مَعَ سُلْطَانِهِ

✧ She said to those with her: "How will you be when there are two callers: one calling to the Book of God, and one calling to the authority of God?" They said: "We will answer the caller to the Book of God." She said: "Rather, answer the caller to the authority of God, for the Book of God is with His authority."
