✧ The Prophet ﷺ was on one of his military expeditions and passed by some people of Muzaynah. A slave belonging to a woman among them followed him. When he was on part of the road, he greeted him, and the Prophet ﷺ said to him: 'So-and-so?' He said: 'Yes.' He said: 'What is your matter?' He said: 'I want to fight alongside you.' He said: 'Did your mistress permit you?' He said: 'No.' The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Return to her and convey my greeting of peace to her.' So he returned to her and conveyed the greeting, and told her. She said: 'By Allah, did he command you to convey greeting to me?' He said: 'Yes.' She said: 'Return and fight alongside him.'
