✧ Virtue of a comfortable mount

قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ: أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ الْعَقَدِيُّ، ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ؓ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:

مِنْ سَعَادَةِ الْمَرْءِ ثَلَاثَةٌ: الْمَرْأَةُ الصَّالِحَةُ، وَالْمَرْكَبُ الصَّالِحُ، وَالْمَنْزِلُ الْوَاسِعُ. وَمِنْ شَقَاوَةِ الْمَرْءِ: الْمَرْأَةُ السُّوءُ، وَالْمَرْكَبُ السُّوءُ، وَالْمَسْكَنُ الضَّيِّقُ

✧ Three things are part of a person's happiness: a righteous wife, a good mount, and a spacious dwelling. And part of a person's misery is: a bad wife, a bad mount, and a cramped home.
