✧ Every Intoxicant Is Forbidden and the Explanation of al-Tila' and al-Khalit

وَقَالَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ: حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ثَنَا شَيْبَانُ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ بْنِ أَبِي الشَّعْثَاءِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي الْهُذَيْلِ، قَالَ:

كَانَ عَبْدُ اللهِ يَحْلِفُ أَنَّ الَّذِي نَهَى عَنْهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ حِينَ حُرِّمَتِ الْخَمْرُ، وَأَمَرَ أَنْ تُكْسَرَ دِنَانُهُ وَأَنْ تُكْفَى - هُوَ التَّمْرُ وَالزَّبِيبُ

Translation
