✧ Every Intoxicant Is Forbidden and the Explanation of al-Tila' and al-Khalit

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ بُرْقَانَ، عَنْ فُرَاتِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَمَّنْ أَخْبَرَهُ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ، قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:

أَوَّلُ مَا يُكْفَى الْإِسْلَامُ كَمَا يُكْفَى الْإِنَاءُ فِي شَرَابٍ يُقَالُ لَهُ: الطِّلَاءُ

Translation

  3. Furāt b. Sulaymān ʿAmman

  5. Rasūl Allāh ﷺ

✧ The first thing Islam is poured out as a vessel is poured out is a drink called tila'.
