✧ Dissuasion from Drinking Wine

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى، ثَنَا عَبْدُ الْقُدُّوسِ، ثَنَا أَبُو هُدْبَةَ، عَنِ الْأَشْعَثِ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ؓ قَالَ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:

مَنْ فَارَقَ الدُّنْيَا وَهُوَ سَكْرَانُ أُدْخِلَ الْقَبْرَ سَكْرَانَ، وَيُبْعَثُ مِنْ قَبْرِهِ سَكْرَانَ، وَأُمِرَ بِهِ إِلَى النَّارِ سَكْرَانَ، إِلَى جَبَلٍ يُقَالُ لَهُ: سَكْرَانُ، فِيهِ عَيْنٌ يَجْرِي فِيهَا الْقَيْحُ وَالدَّمُ، هُوَ طَعَامُهُمْ وَشَرَابُهُمْ مَا دَامَتِ السَّمَاوَاتُ وَالْأَرْضُ

Translation

✧ Whoever departs this world while intoxicated will be placed in the grave intoxicated, will be raised from his grave intoxicated, and will be ordered to the Fire intoxicated, to a mountain called Sakran, in which there is a spring through which pus and blood flow; that is their food and drink as long as the heavens and the earth endure.
