قَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ شَرِيكٍ قَالَ:
سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ ؓ يَقُولُ فِي الرَّجُلِ يَتَزَوَّجُ الْمَرْأَةَ يُحَلِّلُهَا، قَالَ: « هُمَا زَانِيَانِ، وَإِنْ مَكَثَا عَشْرَ سِنِينَ، أَوْ عِشْرِينَ سَنَةً، إِذَا أَنَّهُ تَزَوَّجَهَا لِذَلِكَ

✧ I heard Ibn 'Umar ؓ say about the man who marries a woman to make her lawful (for her previous husband): 'They are both adulterers, even if they remain together for ten years or twenty years, since he married her for that.'
