✧ Coitus Interruptus

إِسْحَاقُ: أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، ثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ سِنَانٍ أَبُو سِنَانٍ، ثَنَا يَعْلَى بْنُ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ ؓ، قَالَ:

إِنَّ أَوَّلَ مَنْ عَزَلَ نَفَرٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ، فَأَتَوُا النَّبِيَّ ﷺ، فَقَالُوا: إِنَّ نَفَرًا مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ يَعْزِلُونَ، فَفَزِعَ وَقَالَ: « إِنَّ النَّفْسَ الْمَخْلُوقَةَ لَكَائِنَةٌ »، فَمَا أَمَرَ وَلَا نَهَى

✧ The first people to practice coitus interruptus were a group of the Ansar. They came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: 'A group of the Ansar are practicing coitus interruptus.' He became alarmed and said: 'The soul that is to be created will surely come into being.' He neither commanded nor forbade.
