أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ، ثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ سُلَيْمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ، قَالَ:

« إِنْ كَانَ قَالَ فِيهِ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ شَيْئًا فَهُوَ كَمَا قَالَ، يَعْنِي الْعَزْلَ. وَأَنَا لَا أَرَى بِهِ بَأْسًا، زَرْعُكَ ; إِنْ شِئْتَ أَعْطَشْتَ، وَإِنْ شِئْتَ سَقَيْتَ

Translation

✧ If the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said anything about it, it is as he said—meaning coitus interruptus. And I see no harm in it. Your field: if you wish, you can withhold water, and if you wish, you can water it.
