حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ، ثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ رَاهَوَيْهِ، ثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، ثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ سِنَانٍ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ قَالَ:

إِنَّ أَوَّلَ مَنْ عَزَلَ نَفَرٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ، أَتَوُا النَّبِيَّ ﷺ، فَقَالُوا: إِنَّ نَفَرًا مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ يَعْزِلُونَ فَفَزِعَ وَقَالَ: إِنَّ النَّفْسَ الْمَخْلُوقَةَ لَكَائِنَةٌ، فَلَا آمُرُ وَلَا أَنْهَى

✧ The first to practice coitus interruptus were a group of the Ansar. They came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: A group of the Ansar practice coitus interruptus. He was startled and said: The soul that is created will surely come into being, so I do not command nor forbid.
