وَقَالَ إِسْحَاقُ: أَخْبَرَنَا الْعَقَدِيُّ، ثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ، قَالَ:
قَالَتْ صَفِيَّةُ: انْتَهَيْتُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، وَمَا أَحَدٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ أَكْرَهَ إِلَيَّ مِنْهُ، فَجَعَلَ يَقُولُ: « إِنَّ قَوْمَكِ صَنَعُوا كَذَا وَكَذَا، وَصَنَعُوا كَذَا وَكَذَا »، فَمَا قُمْتُ مِنْ مَقْعَدِي ذَلِكَ، حَتَّى مَا كَانَ أَحَدٌ أَحَبَّ إِلَيَّ مِنْهُ
Translation

✧ Safiyyah said: I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and there was no one among the people more hateful to me than him. He began to say: 'Your people did such and such, and they did such and such.' I did not rise from that seat of mine until no one was dearer to me than him.
