✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ delivered a sermon to us... and he mentioned a long hadith, and in it: 'Whoever lends to one in distress and is gracious in requesting repayment, let him begin his deeds anew, and for him with God Almighty is, for every dirham, a thousand qintars in Paradise. Whoever lends to his Muslim brother, for him for every dirham is the weight of Mount Uhud, Hira', and Mount Sinai in good deeds. If he is gentle with him in requesting repayment after its due date, charity is recorded for him every day, and he will pass over the Sirat like flashing lightning, with no reckoning and no punishment. And whoever's Muslim brother is in need of a loan, and he does not lend to him while he has it, God will forbid Paradise to him on the Day when He will recompense the doers of good.'
