✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ gave us a sermon... and he mentioned a long hadith, in which [he said]: "Whoever makes things difficult for his Muslim brother, God will strip away his provision from him, ruin his livelihood, and leave him to his own self. Whoever harms a Muslim is not of me, and I am not of him in this world and the Hereafter. Whoever delays payment to his creditor while able to pay, upon him is the sin of a tax collector." Awf b. Malik al-Ashja'i stood up to him and said, "What is the sin of a tax collector?" He said: The Messenger of God ﷺ said: "The sin of a tax collector is that upon him every day is the curse of God, the angels, and all people. And whoever God curses, you will never find a helper for him."
