قَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، قَالَ: قَالَ سَعْدٌ ؓ:

يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، مُرْنِي بِصَدَقَةٍ، فَقَالَ ﷺ: اسْقِ، يَعْنِي الْمَاءَ. قَالَ الْحَسَنُ: فَنَصَبَ سِقَايَتَيْنِ كُنْتُ أَسْعَى بَيْنَهُمَا وَأَنَا غُلَامٌ

Translation

✧ O Messenger of Allah, command me with a charity. He ﷺ said: 'Give water to drink,' meaning water. Al-Hasan said: 'So he set up two drinking places between which I used to run while I was a boy.'
