✧ The Takbir over the Funeral

قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى أَبُو سُفْيَانَ الْحِمْيَرِيُّ - قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ: وَكَانَ رَجُلَ صِدْقٍ - عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ حُسَيْنٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ بْنِ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ؓ قَالَ:

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَعُودُ فُقَرَاءَ الْمَدِينَةِ..فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ، وَفِيهِ: فَمَشَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَى قَبْرِهَا، فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهَا، وَكَبَّرَ أَرْبَعًا

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to visit the poor of Madinah... and he mentioned the hadith, in which there is: 'So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ walked to her grave, prayed over her, and said the takbir four times.'
