“Among the words that people learned from the earlier Prophets are: ‘If you feel no shame, then do as you wish.’”

  machine translationHe was asked about the hadith of Ribʿī b. Ḥirāsh from Abū Masʿūd, that the Messenger of God ﷺ said: "Among what people have received of the speech of the first prophethood is: if you have no shame, do as you wish." He said: Manṣūr b. al-Muʿtamir narrates it from Ribʿī b. Ḥirāsh from Abū Masʿūd. Ibrāhīm b. Saʿd said, from al-Thawrī, from Manṣūr, from Ribʿī, from Ḥudhayfah. The correct (ṣaḥīḥ) one is the hadith of Manṣūr from Ribʿī from Abū Masʿūd. Report a problem
