machine translationAn anomalous (shādhdh) narration, because it contradicts all of the students of ʿIkrimah b. ʿAmmār in its wording. Perhaps this arose from the aforementioned ʿIkrimah when he narrated it to Wakīʿ, for there is some criticism concerning his memorization. If it is preserved (maḥfūẓ), then it is a strong supporting report (shāhid) for the hadith of Abū Hurayrah.
