Show the chain

  • Dāraquṭnī

machine translationIt does not contain Sālim's direct hearing from ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAmr, and Sālim has narrated from his brother, from ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAmr, something other than this. I say (Ibn Ḥajar): This criticism does not apply to al-Bukhārī, given that he stipulates established meeting (liqāʾ). Nor does it follow from Sālim's having narrated a hadith from ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAmr through an intermediary that he did not narrate from him without an intermediary, once his meeting with him has been established.
