حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرٍو عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ

وَكَانَ عَلَى رَحْلِ، وَقَالَ مَرَّةً: عَلَى ثَقَلِ، النَّبِيِّ ﷺ رَجُلٌ يُقَالُ لَهُ: كِرْكِرَةُ فَمَاتَ، فَقَالَ: هُوَ فِي النَّارِ، فَنَظَرُوا فَإِذَا عَلَيْهِ عَبَاءَةٌ قَدْ غَلَّهَا. وَقَالَ مَرَّةً: أَوْ كِسَاءٌ قَدْ غَلَّهُ

Translation

✧ There was a man named Kirkara in charge of the luggage—or he once said: the heavy baggage—of the Prophet ﷺ, and he died. The Prophet ﷺ said: He is in the Fire. So they looked and found that he had stolen a cloak—or he once said: a wrap.
