حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ ثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ خَيْثَمَةَ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَا مِنْكُمْ مِنْ أَحَدٍ إلَّا سَيُكَلِّمُهُ اللهُ لَيْسَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَهُ تَرْجُمَانٌ فَيَنْظُرُ أيْمَنَهُ فَلَا يَرَى إلَّا عَمَلَهُ وَيَنْظُرُ أشْأَمَهُ فَلَا يَرَى إلَّا عَمَلَهُ ثُمَّ يَنْظُرُ أَمَامَهُ فَيَرَى النَّارَ فَمَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ يَتَّقِيَ وَجْهَهُ النَّارَ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّ تَمْرَةٍ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “There is none of you but Allah will speak to him with no interpreter between him and Him. He will look to his right and see only his deeds. He will look to his left and see only his deeds. Then he will look in front of him and see the Fire. So whoever among you can protect his face from the Fire, [let him do so], even with half a date.”
