Making a sudden raid at night and the killing of women and children

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَكِيمٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ أَنْبَأَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ رَأَى امْرَأَةً مَقْتُولَةً فِي بَعْضِ الطَّرِيقِ فَنَهَى عَنْ قَتْلِ النِّسَاءِ وَالصِّبْيَانِ

Translation

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Prophet ﷺ saw a woman who had been killed on the road, and he forbade killing women and children.
