Venerating the Hadith of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and dealing harshly with those who Oppose It

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْخَلاَّدِ الْبَاهِلِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلاَنَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَوْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ
إِذَا حَدَّثْتُكُمْ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَظُنُّوا بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ الَّذِي هُوَ أَهْنَاهُ وَأَهْدَاهُ وَأَتْقَاهُ

"When I tell you of a Hadith from the Messenger of Alllah ﷺ, then think of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as being the best, the utmost rightly guided and the one with the utmost Taqwa (piety, righteousness)."
