Translation

Abbas asked the Prophet about paying his Sadaqah before it is due, and he granted him permission to do that.

  machine translationAl-Ḥakam b. ʿUtaybah narrates it, and there are differences about him. Al-Ḥajjāj b. Dīnār narrated it, and there are differences about Ḥajjāj: Ismāʿīl b. Zakariyyā said from him, from al-Ḥakam, from Ḥujayyah b. ʿAdī, from ʿAlī; Isrāʾīl said from al-Ḥajjāj b. Dīnār, from al-Ḥakam, from Ḥajar al-ʿAdawī, from ʿAlī; and Muḥammad b. ʿUbaydullāh al-ʿArzamī said from al-Ḥakam, from Miqsam, from Ibn ʿAbbās. All of these are errors (wahm). The correct version is what Manṣūr narrated from al-Ḥakam, from al-Ḥasan b. Yanāq, as a mursal report from the Prophet ﷺ. And al-Ḥasan b. ʿUmārah said from al-Ḥakam, from Mūsā b. Ṭalḥah, from his father, that the Prophet ﷺ paid al-ʿAbbās's charity (ṣadaqah) in advance. Report a problem
