machine translationYaḥyā b. Saʿīd al-Anṣārī narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. Ibn Jurayj, Ibn ʿUyaynah, Jarīr and Zuhayr b. Muʿāwiyah narrated it from Yaḥyā, from Abū Salamah, from ʿĀʾishah. ʿAlī b. al-Mundhir narrated it from Ibn ʿUyaynah, from ʿAmr b. Dīnār and Yaḥyā b. Saʿīd, from Abū Salamah, from ʿĀʾishah, and he reported something odd (gharīb) by including ʿAmr b. Dīnār in it. Ibn Isḥāq narrated it from Yaḥyā b. Saʿīd, from Abū Salamah, from ʿĀʾishah, and added in it wording which he traced back to the Prophet ﷺ that no one else brought. The sound (ṣaḥīḥ) version is the statement of Ibn Jurayj and those who followed him.
