حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ ضَمْرَةَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ

خَرَجَ عُمَرُ يَوْمَ عِيدٍ فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَى أَبِي وَاقِدٍ اللَّيْثِيِّ بِأَىِّ شَىْءٍ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ فِي مِثْلِ هَذَا الْيَوْمِ؟ قَالَ بِ {ق} وَاقْتَرَبَتْ

Translation

“Umar went out on the day of ‘Eid and sent word to Abu Waqid Al-Laithi asking what the Prophet ﷺ used to recite on this day. He said: ‘Qaf [Qaf (50)] and ‘Iqtarabat’.” [Al-Qamar (54)]
