عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، وَابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ ضَمْرَةَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عُبَيْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُتْبَةَ يَقُولُ:
خَرَجَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ فِي يَوْمِ عِيدٍ فَسَأَلَ أَبَا وَاقِدٍ اللَّيْثِيَّ: بِأَيِّ شَيْءٍ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ فِي الصَّلَاةِ يَوْمَ الْعِيدِ ؟ فَقَالَ: " بِقَافْ، وَاقْتَرَبَتْ
Translation
✧ ʿUmar b. al-Khaṭṭāb went out on an Eid day and asked Abū Wāqid al-Laythī: “With what did the Messenger of God ﷺ use to recite in the prayer on the day of Eid?” He said: “With Qāf and Iqtarabat.”
