✧ While Abu Sa'id al-Khudri was praying on Friday towards something that screened him from the people, a young man from Banu Abi Mu'ayt came and wanted to pass in front of him. He pushed him on the throat. He looked and found no way except in front of Abu Sa'id, so he returned. He pushed him on the throat harder than the first push. He said: He stood up straight, then he insulted Abu Sa'id, then he went out and entered upon Marwan and complained to him of what he had encountered from Abu Sa'id. He said: Abu Sa'id entered upon Marwan, and he said, "What is the matter with you and your nephew? He came complaining about you." Abu Sa'id said, "I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: 'When one of you prays and someone wants to pass in front of him, let him push him on the throat. If he refuses, let him fight him, for he is only a devil.'"
