يرويه إسماعيل بن أمية واختلف عنه فرواه وهيب بن خالد ومسلم بن خالد الزنجي عن إسماعيل بن أمية عن أبي محمد بن عمرو بن حريث عن أبيه عن جده عن أبي هريرة عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم واختلف عن وهيب ورواه ابن عيينة واختلف عنه فقال سعيد بن منصور عنه عن إسماعيل بن أمية عن أبي محمد بن عمرو بن حريث عن أبيه عن جده عن أبي هريرة وخالفه جماعة من أصحاب ابن عيينة فقالوا عنه عن أبي محمد بن عمرو بن حريث عن جده ولم يقولوا عن أبيه وكان ابن عيينة يضطرب في هذا الحديث فربما قال عن أبي محمد بن عمرو بن حريث وربما قال عن أبي عمرو بن محمد ثم ثبت على أبي محمد بن عمرو واختلف عن ابن جريج فرواه حجاج عن ابن جريج عن إسماعيل عن أبي محمد بن عمرو عن أبي هريرة ولم يقل عن أبيه ولا عن جده ورفعه وقال عبد الرزاق عن ابن جريج عن إسماعيل عن حريث بن عمار عن أبي هريرة وقال أبو عاصم عن ابن جريج والثوري عن إسماعيل بن أمية عن أبي عمرو بن حريث عن أبيه عن أبي هريرة مرفوعا وكذلك قال معمر عن إسماعيل بن أمية وقال ذواد بن علبة عن إسماعيل بن أمية عن ابن عمرو بن حريث بن سليم عن جده عن أبي هريرة مرفوعا ورواه بشر بن المفضل وعبد الوارث بن سعيد وحميد بن الأسود وأبو إسحاق الفزاري فقالوا عن إسماعيل عن أبي عمرو بن محمد بن حريث عن جده عن أبي هريرة إلا أن حميدا قال من بينهم عن أبيه عن أبي هريرة واختلف عنه فرواه خارجة بن مصعب عن إسماعيل فقال عن عمرو بن حريث أو حريث بن عمرو عن أبيه عن أبي هريرة مرفوعا وقال نصر بن حاجب عن إسماعيل عن محمد بن عمرو عن أبيه عن أبي هريرة وقال إسماعيل بن مسلمة عن إسماعيل بن أمية عن محمد بن عمرو عن حزم عن جده جرير بن سليم عن أبي هريرة ووهم في قوله حزم وإنما هو حريث ورواه همام عن إسماعيل قال حدثني ابن عم لي لم يسمه عن أبي هريرة وكل هؤلاء رفعه ورواه إسماعيل بن أمية وقال عن أبي عمرو بن محمد بن حريث عن جده حريث عن أبي هريرة موقوفا ورفعه صحيح عن إسماعيل

Umayyah, from Abū Muḥammad b. ʿAmr b. Ḥurayth, from his father, from his grandfather, from Abū Hurayrah, from the Prophet ﷺ. There is disagreement about Wuhayb. Ibn ʿUyaynah also narrated it, and there is disagreement about him: Saʿīd b. Manṣūr said from him, from Ismāʿīl b. Umayyah, from Abū Muḥammad b. ʿAmr b. Ḥurayth, from his father, from his grandfather, from Abū Hurayrah. A group of Ibn ʿUyaynah's companions contradicted him and said from him, from Abū Muḥammad b. ʿAmr b. Ḥurayth, from his grandfather, and did not say 'from his father'. Ibn ʿUyaynah was inconsistent in this hadith: sometimes he said 'from Abū Muḥammad b. ʿAmr b. Ḥurayth' and sometimes 'from Abū ʿAmr b. Muḥammad', then he settled on Abū Muḥammad b. ʿAmr. There is disagreement about Ibn Jurayj: Ḥajjāj narrated it from Ibn Jurayj, from Ismāʿīl, from Abū Muḥammad b. ʿAmr, from Abū Hurayrah, without saying 'from his father' or 'from his grandfather', and he raised it to the Prophet (marfūʿ). ʿAbd al-Razzāq said from Ibn Jurayj, from Ismāʿīl, from Ḥurayth b. ʿAmmār, from Abū Hurayrah. Abū ʿĀṣim said from Ibn Jurayj and al-Thawrī, from Ismāʿīl b. Umayyah, from Abū ʿAmr b. Ḥurayth, from his father, from Abū Hurayrah, raised to the Prophet (marfūʿ). Maʿmar said likewise from Ismāʿīl b. Umayyah. Dhuwād b. ʿUlbah said from Ismāʿīl b. Umayyah, from Ibn ʿAmr b. Ḥurayth b. Sulaym, from his grandfather, from Abū Hurayrah, raised (marfūʿ). Bishr b. al-Mufaḍḍal, ʿAbd al-Wārith b. Saʿīd, Ḥumayd b. al-Aswad and Abū Isḥāq al-Fazārī narrated it and said from Ismāʿīl, from Abū ʿAmr b. Muḥammad b. Ḥurayth, from his grandfather, from Abū Hurayrah, except that Ḥumayd, alone among them, said 'from his father, from Abū Hurayrah', and there is disagreement about him. Khārijah b. Muṣʿab narrated it from Ismāʿīl and said from ʿAmr b. Ḥurayth or Ḥurayth b. ʿAmr, from his father, from Abū Hurayrah, raised (marfūʿ). Naṣr b. Ḥājib said from Ismāʿīl, from Muḥammad b. ʿAmr, from his father, from Abū Hurayrah. Ismāʿīl b. Muslimah said from Ismāʿīl b. Umayyah, from Muḥammad b. ʿAmr, from Ḥazm, from his grandfather Jarīr b. Sulaym, from Abū Hurayrah; he erred in saying 'Ḥazm', for it is only Ḥurayth. Hammām narrated it from Ismāʿīl, who said: a cousin of mine, whom he did not name, narrated to me from Abū Hurayrah. All of these raised it (marfūʿ). Ismāʿīl b. Umayyah narrated it and said from Abū ʿAmr b. Muḥammad b. Ḥurayth, from his grandfather Ḥurayth, from Abū Hurayrah, as a statement of Abū Hurayrah (mawqūf). Its being raised (marfūʿ) is sound from Ismāʿīl. Report a problem
