أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا بُنْدَارٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْرٍ قَالَ:

صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ، فَكَبَّرَ حِينَ دَخَلَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ، وَرَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ، وَحِينَ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَرْكَعَ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ، وَحِينَ رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ، وَوَضَعَ كَفَّيْهِ وَجَافَى - يَعْنِي فِي السُّجُودِ - وَفَرَشَ فَخِذَهُ الْيُسْرَى، وَأَشَارَ بِأُصْبُعِهِ السَّبَّابَةِ - يَعْنِي فِي الْجُلُوسِ فِي التَّشَهُّدِ - ".

✧ I prayed with the Prophet ﷺ. He said the takbir when he entered the prayer and raised his hands; when he intended to bow, he raised his hands; and when he raised his head from bowing, he raised his hands. He placed his palms and kept them apart—meaning in prostration—spread his left thigh, and pointed with his index finger—meaning when sitting in the tashahhud.
