✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood for prayer, he would say the takbir upon standing. Then he would say the takbir when bowing. Then he would say, “Allah hears the one who praises Him,” when he raised his back from the bow. Then, while standing, he would say, “Our Lord, and to You is all praise.” [Then he would say the takbir] when going down into prostration, then he would say the takbir when he raised his head, then he would say the takbir when he prostrated, then he would say the takbir when he raised his head, then he would do the same throughout the whole prayer until he completed it. And he would say the takbir when he stood up from the two rak‘ahs after sitting. Then Abu Hurayrah said: “Indeed, I am the closest of you in prayer to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.”
