✧ A man came and his breath was quickened, and he said: 'Allah is greatest. Praise be to Allah, abundant, good, blessed praise.' When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished his prayer, he said: 'Which of you spoke these words?' The people remained silent. He said: 'Which of you spoke these words? For he did not say anything wrong.' The man said: 'I, O Messenger of Allah. I came and my breath was quickened, so I said them.' He said: 'I saw twelve angels racing to see which of them would raise it.' This is the hadith of Bahz b. Asad. Abu Musa said in his hadith: 'A man entered the prayer and said: Praise be to Allah, abundant, good, blessed praise.' He also said: 'A man from the people said: I said it, and I intended only good by it. The Prophet ﷺ said: Twelve angels raced to it, and they did not know how to write it until they asked their Lord, who said: Write it as My servant said it.'
