أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا [هِشَامٌ أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ]، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ قَالَ:

قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، عَلِّمْنِي الْقُرْآنَ وَاجْعَلْنِي إِمَامَ قَوْمِي. قَالَ: فَقَالَ: " اقْتَدِ بِأَضْعَفِهِمْ، وَاتَّخِذْ مُؤَذِّنًا لَا يَأْخُذُ عَلَى أَذَانِهِ أَجْرًا
