أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ إِيَاسٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عُفَيْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ، عَنِ الْحُكَيْمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ:

مَنْ سَمِعَ الْمُؤَذِّنَ يَتَشَهَّدُ فَالْتَفَتَ فِي وَجْهِهِ، فَقَالَ: أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ، رَضِيتُ بِاللهِ رَبًّا، وَبِالْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا، غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ

Translation

✧ Whoever hears the mu'adhdhin pronouncing the testimony of faith, and turns his face toward him, and says: 'I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, with no partner, and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. I am pleased with Allah as Lord, and with Islam as religion', his past sins will be forgiven.
