✧ The Imam's sermon on the middle day of the Days of Tashriq

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ زِيَادِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْعَطَّارُ، وَهَذَا حَدِيثُ بُنْدَارٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا رَبِيعَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حِصْنٍ، [قَالَ ]: حَدَّثَتْنِي جَدَّتِي سَرَّاءُ بِنْتُ نَبْهَانَ وَكَانَتْ رَبَّةَ بَيْتٍ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ قَالَتْ:
خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ الرُّؤُوسِ فَقَالَ: أَيُّ بَلَدٍ هَذَا ؟ " قُلْنَا: اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ. قَالَ: " أَلَيْسَ الْمَشْعَرَ الْحَرَامَ ؟ " قُلْنَا: بَلَى. قَالَ: " فَأَيُّ يَوْمٍ هَذَا ؟ " قُلْنَا: اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ. قَالَ: " أَلَيْسَ أَوْسَطَ أَيَّامِ التَّشْرِيقِ ؟ " قُلْنَا: بَلَى. قَالَ: " فَإِنَّ دِمَاءَكُمْ - زَادَ إِسْحَاقُ - وَأَعْرَاضَكُمْ، وَقَالَا: وَأَمْوَالَكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ حَرَامٌ، كَحُرْمَةِ يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا، فِي شَهْرِكُمْ هَذَا، فِي بَلَدِكُمْ هَذَا " - زَادَ إِسْحَاقُ -: " فَلْيُبَلِّغْ أَدْنَاكُمْ أَقْصَاكُمُ، اللَّهُمَّ هَلْ بَلَّغْتُ، اللَّهُمَّ هَلْ بَلَّغْتُ، اللَّهُمَّ هَلْ بَلَّغْتُ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave us a sermon on the Day of Heads and said: "What land is this?" We said: "Allah and His Messenger know best." He said: "Is it not the Sacred Monument?" We said: "Yes." He said: "What day is this?" We said: "Allah and His Messenger know best." He said: "Is it not the middle of the Days of Tashriq?" We said: "Yes." He said: "Indeed your blood"—Ishaq added: "and your honors," and they both said: "and your wealth are forbidden to you like the sanctity of this day of yours, in this month of yours, in this land of yours"—Ishaq added: "Let the nearest of you convey to the farthest of you. O Allah, have I conveyed? O Allah, have I conveyed? O Allah, have I conveyed?"
