Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah 3242

✧ The prohibition of fasting on the Days of Tashriq

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ الضَّبِّيُّ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو؛ ( ح ) وَحَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ، عَنْ بِشْرِ بْنِ سُحَيْمٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَمَرَهُ أَنْ يُنَادِيَ أَيَّامَ التَّشْرِيقِ، وَقَالَ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ: بَعَثَهُ أَيَّامَ مِنًى أَنْ يُنَادِيَ: لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ إِلَّا نَفْسٌ مُؤْمِنَةٌ، وَإِنَّهَا أَيَّامُ أَكْلٍ وَشُرْبٍ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ ordered him to proclaim during the Days of Tashrīq — and al-Makhzūmī said: He sent him during the days of Mina to proclaim: None will enter Paradise except a believing soul, and they are days of eating and drinking.
