✧ That 'Abbad b. 'Abdullah entered upon A'ishah bt. 'Abd al-Rahman while she had a slave girl combing her hair on the Day of Sacrifice. She had menstruated on the day they arrived in Makkah and had not performed tawaf of the House before 'Arafah. She had entered ihram for Hajj, departed from 'Arafat, and thrown the pebbles at the Jamrah. 'Abbad entered upon her while she was combing her hair and applying perfume. 'Abbad said, 'Are you applying perfume when you have not performed tawaf of the House?' A'ishah said, 'She has thrown the Jamrah and cut her hair.' He said, 'Even so, it is not permissible for her.' A'ishah disapproved of that and sent to 'Urwah and asked him about it. He said, 'Perfume is not permissible for anyone who has not performed tawaf before 'Arafat, even if they have shortened their hair and thrown the pebbles.'
