✧ Shaving the head after completing the sacrifice or slaughter, and the recommendation of starting from the right in shaving

أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّيْخُ الْفَقِيهُ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُسْلِمِ السُّلَمِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا الْأُسْتَاذُ الْإِمَامُ أَبُو عُثْمَانَ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الصَّابُونِيُّ، قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ، [قَالَ ]: أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْخَطَّابِ زِيَادُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ:

لَمَّا رَمَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْجَمْرَةَ وَنَحَرَ هَدْيَهُ، نَاوَلَ الْحَلَّاقَ شِقَّهُ الْأَيْمَنَ فَحَلَقَهُ، ثُمَّ نَاوَلَهُ أَبَا طَلْحَةَ، ثُمَّ نَاوَلَهُ الشِّقَّ الْأَيْسَرَ فَحَلَقَهُ، ثُمَّ نَاوَلَهُ أَبَا طَلْحَةَ، وَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَقْسِمَ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ

✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ threw the pebbles and slaughtered his sacrificial animal, he handed the barber his right side, and he shaved it. Then he handed it to Abu Talhah. Then he handed him the left side, and he shaved it, and he handed it to Abu Talhah, and he instructed him to distribute it among the people.
