✧ People were talking a lot, so we set out intending the Ḥajj until there were only a few nights between us and our exiting the state of iḥrām. We were ordered to exit. One of us would go to ʿArafah while his private part was dripping semen. That reached the Messenger of God ﷺ, so he stood as a speaker and said: "Do you teach me about God, O people? By God, I am more knowledgeable about God than you and more God-fearing. If I were to face what I have left behind, I would not have driven a sacrificial animal, and I would have exited the state of iḥrām as they did. Whoever does not have a sacrificial animal with him should fast three days and seven when he returns to his family. Whoever finds a sacrificial animal should slaughter it." And we would slaughter a camel on behalf of seven.
