حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ الْقَاسِمِ؛ ( ح ) وَحَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ؛ ( ح ) وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُوسَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ:

ضَحَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ نِسَائِهِ بِالْبَقَرِ. هَذَا لَفْظُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ وَعَلِيٍّ. فَأَمَّا أَبُو مُوسَى فَإِنَّهُ قَالَ: إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لَهَا، وَحَاضَتْ بِسَرِفَ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَدْخُلَ مَكَّةَ، فَقَالَ لَهَا: اقْضِي مَا يَقْضِي الْحَاجُّ غَيْرَ أَلَّا تَطُوفِي بِالْبَيْتِ قَالَتْ: فَلَمَّا كُنَّا بِمِنًى أُتِيتُ بِلَحْمِ بَقَرٍ، فَقُلْتُ: مَا هَذَا ؟ قَالُوا: ضَحَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ أَزْوَاجِهِ بِالْبَقَرِ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ slaughtered a cow on behalf of his wives as a sacrifice. This is the wording of ʿAbd al-Jabbār and ʿAlī. As for Abū Mūsā, he said: The Prophet ﷺ said to her — when she menstruated at Sarif before entering Makkah — “Perform what a pilgrim performs, except that you should not circumambulate the House.” She said: When we were at Mina, I was brought beef. I said, “What is this?” They said, “The Messenger of Allah ﷺ slaughtered a cow on behalf of his wives as a sacrifice.”
