أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، ( ح ) وَحَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، ( ح ) وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَكِيمٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ( ح ) وَحَدَّثَنَا سَلْمُ بْنُ جُنَادَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، ( ح ) وَحَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَنَّ مَالِكًا حَدَّثَهُمْ، كُلُّهُمْ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، ( ح ) وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ كُرَيْبٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، ( ح ) وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْمُخَرِّمِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ:

أَنَّ امْرَأَةً سَأَلَتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَنْ دَمِ الْحَيْضِ يُصِيبُ الثَّوْبَ، فَقَالَ: حُتِّي، ثُمَّ اقْرُصِيهِ بِالْمَاءِ، ثُمَّ انْضَحِيهِ. هَذَا حَدِيثُ حَمَّادٍ وَفِي خَبَرِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ: " ثُمَّ رُشِّي وَصَلِّي فِيهِ ". وَفِي خَبَرِ يَحْيَى: " ثُمَّ تَنْضَحِيهِ وَتُصَلِّي فِيهِ

✧ A woman asked the Prophet ﷺ about menstrual blood that gets on a garment. He said: “Scrape it, then rub it with water, then sprinkle it.” This is the hadith of Hammad. In the report of Ibn ‘Uyaynah: “Then sprinkle it and pray in it.” In the report of Yahya: “Then you sprinkle it and pray in it.”
