أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَكِيمٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتَ الْمُنْذِرِ تُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ جَدَّتِهَا أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ

أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتِ امْرَأَةً تَسْأَلُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ؛ فَقَالَتْ: إِحْدَانَا إِذَا طَهُرَتْ كَيْفَ تَصْنَعُ بِثِيَابِهَا الَّتِي كَانَتْ تَلْبَسُ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: إِنْ رَأَتْ فِيهِ شَيْئًا فَلْتَحُكَّهُ، ثُمَّ لِتَقْرُصْهُ بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ، وَتَنْضَحْ فِي سَائِرِ الثَّوْبِ مَاءً وَتُصَلِّي فِيهِ

✧ She heard a woman asking the Prophet ﷺ: “When one of us becomes pure, what should she do with the garments she used to wear?” The Prophet ﷺ said: “If she sees something on it, let her scrape it, then rub it with some water, and sprinkle water over the rest of the garment, and pray in it.”
