حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ: حَفِظْتُهُ مِنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ صَفْوَانَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ شَيْبَانَ - وَهُوَ [مِنْ ] أَخْوَالِهِ - قَالَ:
أَتَانَا ابْنُ مِرْبَعٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ وَنَحْنُ وُقُوفٌ بِعَرَفَةَ خَلْفَ الْمَوْقِفِ - مَوْضِعٍ يُبَعِّدُهُ عَمْرٌو مِنَ الْمَوْقِفِ - فَقَالَ: إِنِّي رَسُولُ رَسُولِ اللهِ إِلَيْكُمْ
