حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ السَّعْدِيُّ، وَيُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ زِيَادِ بْنِ حِذْيَمٍ السَّعْدِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ حِذْيَمِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ:

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ فِي خُطْبَتِهِ يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ: اعْلَمُوا أَنَّ دِمَاءَكُمْ وَأَمْوَالَكُمْ وَأَعْرَاضَكُمْ حَرَامٌ عَلَيْكُمْ كَحُرْمَةِ يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا، وَكَحُرْمَةِ شَهْرِكُمْ هَذَا، وَكَحُرْمَةِ بَلَدِكُمْ هَذَا

✧ I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say in his sermon on the Day of Arafah during the Farewell Pilgrimage: Know that your blood, your wealth, and your honor are sacred to you, like the sanctity of this day of yours, like the sanctity of this month of yours, and like the sanctity of this land of yours.
