✧ I went forth with 'Abd Allah from Mina to Arafah. 'Abd Allah was a dark-skinned man with two braids, having the appearance of the people of the desert, and he was reciting the talbiyah. A crowd of the rabble gathered around him: "O bedouin, this is not a day for talbiyah; it is for takbir." He said: At that, he turned to me and said: "Have the people become ignorant or forgotten? By the One who sent Muhammad with the truth, I went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ from Mina to Arafah, and he did not abandon the talbiyah until he stoned the Jamrah, except that he would mix it with tahlil or takbir."
