Sahih Ibn Khuzaymah 3048

✧ removal of blame from one who performs Sa'i between Safa and Marwa before the Tawaf of the House out of ignorance of the Tawaf

حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ - وَهُوَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ - عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ شَرِيكٍ قَالَ:

خَرَجْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ حَاجًّا، وَكَانَ النَّاسُ يَأْتُونَهُ، فَمِنْ قَائِلٍ يَقُولُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، سَعَيْتُ قَبْلَ أَنْ أَطُوفَ، أَوْ أَخَّرْتُ شَيْئًا أَوْ قَدَّمْتُ شَيْئًا، وَكَانَ يَقُولُ لَهُمْ: لَا حَرَجَ لَا حَرَجَ، إِلَّا رَجُلٌ اقْتَرَضَ مِنْ عِرْضِ رَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ، وَهُوَ ظَالِمٌ، فَذَاكَ الَّذِي حَرِجَ وَهَلَكَ

Translation

✧ I went out with the Messenger of God ﷺ as a pilgrim, and people used to come to him. Some would say: O Messenger of God, I performed Sa'i before I performed Tawaf, or I delayed something or brought something forward. He would say to them: No harm, no harm, except a man who borrows from the honor of a Muslim man while he is an oppressor. That is the one who is in harm and has perished.
