✧ Supplication against the people of the religions and idols on Safa and Marwa

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَكِيمٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى - يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي أَوْفَى قَالَ:
اعْتَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَطَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ، ثُمَّ خَرَجَ يَطُوفُ بَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ فَجَعَلْنَا نَسْتُرُهُ مِنْ أَهْلِ مَكَّةَ أَنْ يَرْمِيَهُ أَحَدٌ مِنْهُمْ أَوْ يُصِيبَهُ بِشَيْءٍ، فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَدْعُو عَلَى الْأَحْزَابِ يَقُولُ: اللَّهُمَّ مُنْزِلَ الْكِتَابِ، سَرِيعَ الْحِسَابِ، اهْزِمِ الْأَحْزَابَ، اللَّهُمَّ اهْزِمْهُمْ وَزَلْزِلْهُمْ

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ performed Umrah and circumambulated the House, then he went out to perform Sa'i between Safa and Marwa. We began to shield him from the people of Makkah, lest any of them throw something at him or hit him with something. I heard him supplicating against the confederates, saying: O God, Sender down of the Book, Swift in reckoning, defeat the confederates. O God, defeat them and shake them.
