✧ Shall I not teach you one of your hadiths, O assembly of the Ansar? Then he mentioned the conquest of Makkah. He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came and entered Makkah. He mentioned the hadith in full and said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to the Stone and touched it, and performed tawaf around the House with a bow in his hand, holding one end of the bow. During his tawaf he came to an idol at the side of the House which they worshipped, and he began poking it in its eyes with the bow, saying: 'Truth has come and falsehood has vanished.' Then he came to Safa and climbed it to where he could see the House, raised his hands, and began remembering Allah as much as he wished and supplicating to Him, while the Ansar were beneath him.
