✧ We came to Jabir b. Abdullah and asked him about the Hajj of the Prophet ﷺ. He mentioned part of the hadith and said: Then he returned to the Stone and touched it, and went out to Safa. He said: 'I begin with what Allah began with,' and recited: 'Indeed Safa and Marwah are among the symbols of Allah.' He climbed Safa until when he could see the House, he said takbir three times — meaning and said: 'There is no god but Allah, alone with no partner, His is the dominion, and His is the praise, and He is over all things capable. There is no god but Allah, He fulfilled His promise, aided His servant, and defeated the confederates alone.' Then he repeated this speech three times, then descended. When his feet reached the valley, he ran, and when he ascended, he walked until he came to Marwah and climbed it. When he could see the House, he said upon it as he had said upon Safa.
