✧ A Person's Supplication for His Muslim Brother When He Intends to Travel

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ الْقَطَوَانِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سَيَّارُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ:
جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنِّي أُرِيدُ سَفَرًا فَزَوِّدْنِي، قَالَ: زَوَّدَكَ اللهُ التَّقْوَى، قَالَ: زِدْنِي، قَالَ: " وَغَفَرَ ذَنْبَكَ "، قَالَ: زِدْنِي بِأَبِي أَنْتَ وَأُمِّي، قَالَ: " وَيَسَّرَ لَكَ حَيْثُمَا كُنْتَ

✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: O Messenger of Allah, I intend to travel, so provide me with provisions. He said: May Allah provide you with piety. He said: Give me more. He said: And may He forgive your sin. He said: Give me more, by my father and mother. He said: And may He make things easy for you wherever you are.
